Red Crescent Uzbekistan Volunteers Society

As humans, it is our duty to give our services to help the needy….. Warm wishes on Red Cross Day and Red Crescent Day!!!

Uzbekistan Red Crescent has been viewed as the nation’s elite humanitarian organization, dedicating themselves to aiding people in need throughout Uzbekistan. The Uzbekistan affiliation has also held a joint association with the global Red Cross and Red Crescent networks throughout the world.

I was really excited to learn about this Red Cross and Red Crescent society. As a result, I joined this society as a volunteer and explored five key service areas:

I also wanted to have a role in this generous society, and I improved my knowledge in "Health and Safety Services." I began my practice by participating in healthcare campaigns, and we expanded our knowledge to schools and warned about the severity of health problems including COVID-19, smoking, and stress. As a group, we mentored students to follow proper hygiene rules.

Additionally, my last Red Crescent Society experience included the responsibility of distributing handouts about severe health problems. I value every moment of my volunteering in the Red Crescent Society because not only was it effective at motivating people, but it was also a real school for me to master my skills.I witnessed that all volunteers and employees, alongside the generous donors, share a mission of preventing and relieving suffering, not just in our country but around the world.

At the end, The Red Crescent Society valued my little efforts and I was awarded with Leader Certificate.

We aspire to turn compassion into action so that all people affected by disaster across the country and around the world receive care, shelter and hope; our communities are ready and prepared for disasters; everyone in our country has access to safe, lifesaving blood and blood products; all members of our armed services and their families find support and comfort wherever needed; and in an emergency there are always trained individuals nearby, ready to use their Red Crescent skills to save lives.
